Peter Seabrook-Harris - About me

About me
Well this will give you some insights into my dodgy formative years. I was born in 1953 in Hounslow Middlesex, a spectacularly dull town surely worthy of prominent inclusion in the UK listing of Crap Towns. It's actually worse now than when I grew up there in the 1960's and, whatever the Luftwaffe had failed to flatten, the town planners combined with local apathy, seems to have then removed what very little that remained of any intrinsic historic interest.
Large soulless council estates dominate many areas of the borough and even the once orderly rows of neat 1930's semi's with their little privet hedges are now mostly down at heel too. There's also what seems to be an obsession with net curtains

Front "gardens" are now generally areas of concrete and display areas for all manner of household detritus (the "posh" ones may have a skip) and some also have cars on bricks and burger vans ...and a wide variety of wheelie bins. Some even laughingly have large gates but probably to prevent escapes? Hounslow was apparently voted the 4th dirtiest borough in England which reflects the general apathy of the wretched folk that still live have to there. An alarming number of pubs have either shut down, been converted into curry houses or best still flattened as a more humane alternative. Christ this is place is truly hell and its one claim to fame seems to be some sort of source of cleaners and catering staff for Heathrow and Jimi Hendrix playing his first ever gig here in a pub next to Hounslow Bus Garage.
